RIGOROUS CURRICULUM
The programme is the same as that offered on our UK campus, following the same rigorous curriculum and high-quality academic standards.
The first year of the course will introduce you to the concepts required for British Psychological Society (BPS) qualification, including cognition, neuroscience, development, perception and research methods. You will then cover these and other subjects in far greater depth during the second year. In the final year of the degree you can develop your knowledge by exploring the areas that interest you most conduct research on that topic with exceptionally well resources.
You will be supported by our dedicated and highly-qualified academic team.
PROFESSIONAL PLACEMENT
The programme incorporates a year-long placement in Year 3 that enables you to develop valuable professional skills.
Placements can take a variety of forms, including direct contact with clients (e.g. befriending, assisting in group activities, classroom assistants), work shadowing and small-scale research projects. You will have the opportunity to carry out your placement at an external organisation, to apply the skills you have developed in a practical setting, and gain work experience that will enhance your employability upon graduation.
It should be noted that the school also offers a 3-year BSc Psychology programme without a professional placement.
