We offer generous scholarships and bursaries for students who are keen to study at the University of Reading Malaysia. Students will only be eligible to apply for the scholarships and bursaries described if they are a registered student of the University of Reading Malaysia (UoRM) and paying fees directly to UoRM. Students that are registered as a University of Reading (UoR) student and are applying to transfer to UoRM for discrete elements of their overall UoR programme of study are not eligible.
Students who did exceptionally well in their SPM 2025 trial results will be entitled to the following scholarship

Notes:
- This scholarship is open to students sitting for SPM 2025.
- The scholarship will ONLY be awarded based on the SPM trial results for the April 2026 intake.
- Student(s) can apply to upgrade the scholarship to High Achiever’s Scholarship if he or she scores better in the actual SPM examinations.
- The scholarship will not be downgraded if the student scores lower in the actual SPM examinations.
- Provost Award is only applicable to students with the official SPM results.
- A student is eligible to receive only ONE TYPE of financial benefit, whether it is a scholarship, bursary or incentive (except for an Early Bird waiver and a PSE rebate), whichever higher value applies.
- No additional application is required. The Scholarship will be awarded automatically when students apply for admission.

High Achiever's Scholarship
Students who demonstrate exemplary academic ability and achievement will automatically be considered for the High Achiever’s Scholarship. The value of the scholarship is up to 30% of total programme tuition fees, depending on the level of academic performance.

- All financial awards DO NOT APPLY to placement year fees (if applicable), except for 100% Scholarship
- For international students:
- Please note that all financial awards do not cover or offset any part of the 6% Sales and Services Tax (SST) charged by the Malaysian Government on gross annual tuition fees.
- Application fees paid are non-refundable but can be deducted from the payable tuition fees upon successful enrolment.
- Financial awards are generally not eligible to students who are joining at Part 2 entry and receiving credit exemption or advanced standing, unless stated otherwise. However, UoRM reserves the right to review this at its own discretion for specific financial award scheme(s).
- All financial awards are only applicable where primary registration is at and tuition fees are payable to UoRM. Mobility students visiting from the UoR UK campus would therefore not be eligible.
