Prabu Manikam |  Lecturer of Law

Prabu Manikam Prabu Manikam is currently a Law Lecturer at the University of Reading Malaysia. He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree and a Postgraduate Certificate in Corporate Law from the University of London, as well as a Master of Laws degree from the National University of Malaysia (UKM). He is presently pursuing his PhD at the National University of Malaysia.

Prabu has been actively involved in legal education since 2010 and brings over a decade of teaching and academic management experience in Malaysian higher education. In addition to his teaching role, he has previously held several academic leadership positions, including Coordinator of University of London (UOL) Programmes at Stamford College, Programme Manager for the UK Transfer Degree Programme at Brickfields Asia College, and Head of University of London Programmes at Advance Tertiary College.

His academic contributions include the publication of several textbook chapters and peer-reviewed journal articles. His primary research interests lie in Criminal Law and Human Rights. Prabu is an Associate Fellow of Advance HE (UK) and currently serves as an external examiner for several higher education institutions offering law enforcement related programmes.

He is a firm believer in the servant leadership philosophy, viewing leadership as a responsibility to serve the community, anchored in humility and accountability.
