Purpose of workshop/who it is for/what’s involved:

A key step in the publication is the peer review process. Everybody, be it as an author or as a reviewer, can probably tell about rather unpleasant experiences at this step. In this workshop will discuss this process in more detail. We will have a look at recent approaches to circumvent some of these issues in the peer review process, which came along with new publishing models (which have been discussed in the previous workshop). I will also introduce a new online platform, which allows reviewers and editors to showcase their work in the peer review process.

This workshop is suitable for everybody involved in scientific publications, be it as an author, reviewer, or editor.
