Purpose of workshop/ who it is for/what’s involved:
Students, professors, researchers and even professionals use MyGRANTS to seek research grant opportunity, exchange ideas and information.
Under Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE), it is a 1-Stop centre for
(1) Stay informed about research grant application and status;
(2) Control your research identity within your team; and
(3) Communicate and exchange knowledge you need to achieve your goal.
This workshop will navigate participants on how to register and make full use of MyGRANTS portal for their research undertakings.

Biography
Faris’s research interests include Construction Project Management, Sustainable Building and Construction; and Construction Informatics with emphasis on Building Information Modelling (BIM) and applications of Digital Technologies. Since 2007, he has successfully secured external research grant amounting to RM4.27 million from MOHE, MOSTI, PETRONAS and AKEPT; in particular three Fundamental Research Grant Scheme (FRGS of MOHE) in 2011, 2010 and 2007. He had recently in Sept 2017 secured FRGS fund (amounting RM 58,000) with a group of researchers from Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) titled ‘Designing Green Procurement Index for Onsite Mechanized Construction Using Core Principles of Sustainability in Malaysia.’ |
