The University of Reading is once again ranked in the Top 30 UK universities, according to the latest UK university league table published in April 2017.
Reading is ranked joint 26th in the UK by the Complete University Guide 2018, up one place from last year. The University has maintained steady progress in recent years, with this being the third consecutive move up the table. Reading has risen from 37th in the 2015 ranking, a total rise of 11 places in just three years.
The University of Reading opened its first overseas branch in Malaysia in September 2015. The campus now offers a total of 11 world-class UK honours degrees, which are awarded by the University of Reading UK, at undergraduate and postgraduate level plus world-class foundation and doctoral programmes. Malaysia campus students can study business, finance, property, construction, psychology or pharmacy - and also have the opportunity to study in the UK for part of their course.

The Complete University Guide is based on ten measures: Student Satisfaction, Research Quality, Research Intensity, Entry Standards, Student: Staff Ratio; Spending on Academic Services; Spending on Student Facilities; Good Honours Degrees; Graduate Prospects and Completion. It includes 129 UK institutions (127 last year).
Earlier this year, Reading was ranked 18th in the UK in the Times Higher Education Student Experience Survey 2017. The University is currently ranked 175th in the world, according to the QS World University Rankings 2016, placing it firmly within the top 1% of higher education institutions globally.
