Your Graduation and Beyond

Please update your contact and home email address in the RISIS web portal at the earliest.. You will receive Expression of Interest (EOI) and then a formal invitation for the Graduation Ceremony at those email addresses. 

You will receive an email during March/April 2026 asking to fill in an MS Form to confirm your venue of Graduation, i.e., Malaysia or UK. 

Please fill the from by expressing your choice of location for graduation before the date in the email.  You should be aware that sometimes emails from us can automatically be filed as junk by your email provider. Students of Reading Malaysia are allowed to attend the Graduation either in Malaysia or in the UK Campus.

You should receive an email from the UK Graduation Office, if you have chosen UK as your preferred venue of Graduation,  with a deadline to register for the graduation ceremony in the UK.

For those who opted Malaysia as your preferred location for Graduation, an EOI email will be sent from UoRM Graduation Office in Malaysia with a deadline to respond.  

Please respond to the emails and complete the registrations process within the deadline to ensure that your attendance at your graduation ceremony is confirmed.

This step only refers Malaysian Ceremony. For UK ceremony, please refer to the UK Graduation Site.

Registration
You will be emailed a formal invitation which you need to respond in order to register for graduation.

You will need to make payment and pass the receipts to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. before the given deadline.

Graduation tickets
Graduands will be able to get tickets for themselves and two guests. You can apply for additional guest tickets when you fill in the “expressions of interest” on the portal and we will allocate your tickets. Priority will be given to those who successfully complete the expression of interest process prior to formal graduation registration as well as the complete payment of outstanding dues. Extra tickets will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis.

The graduation package includes Robes and photography. Package details will be provided when we send the official invitation. 

In order to be eligible to graduate you need to check two things:

• Your results.
• You don't have tuition fee debt. For more information regarding debt please contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

Please note that any outstanding fees should be cleared before you complete your response to the EOI; any delay in paying the outstanding fees may result in non-printing of the Degree Certificate for the Graduation 2026, thus you will neither allow to attend the ceremony nor graduating in 2026.

You will not be able to graduate and will be automatically deferred to a future graduation ceremony if:

• you have not passed and need to resit.
• you have not passed, but have qualified for an exit award, which you have not yet accepted.
• you have an open academic misconduct case in the lead up to Graduation.
• you have an outstanding tuition free or debt.
• for any other reason the Exams Office do not have a final result for you by the beginning of July 2026.
