Amir Nur Ikhwan bin Amernudin |  Lecturer of Law

Amir Nur Ikhwan bin Amernudin Amir Nur Ikhwan bin Amernudin joined the University of Reading Malaysia in October 2024, bringing over 15 years of experience in legal education, academic management, and research. Amir holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) and a Bachelor of Laws (Hons.) (LL.B) from Universiti Teknologi MARA. His teaching and research interests include land law, constitutional law, comparative public law, and legal education reform.

His academic career began in 2010 as a Law Lecturer at Management and Science University (MSU) Shah Alam followed by roles at Island College of Technology in 2013 and Multimedia University in 2015.

In addition to his academic roles, Amir served as a Federal Counsel at the Attorney General’s Chambers of Malaysia, gaining valuable insights into public law and legal practice. He also held the position of Legal Officer at the Ministry of Home Affairs, where he contributed to legal advisory work and policy implementation within the public sector.

Amir currently serves as a Member of the Disciplinary Committee Panel under the Advocates & Solicitors Disciplinary Board, Malaysia, appointed under the purview of the Bar Council Malaysia. This role reflects his continued engagement with the legal profession and commitment to upholding ethical standards in legal practice.
