Prof. Dr Kinjal Doshi | Head of Psychology

Dr Kinjal DoshiDr Kinjal Doshi completed her PhD studies at the University of Pennsylvania (USA), specialising in Clinical and Health Psychology. As a clinical psychologist, she supports individuals with chronic medical conditions using cognitive-behavioural, psychodynamic, and existential psychotherapy. She specialises in health psychology and behaviour change and has extensive experience in neuropsychological assessment and functional rehabilitation for individuals with neurodevelopmental or acquired cognitive difficulties.

Her academic work focuses on implementation science for real-world service improvement, improving the mental health and wellbeing of mental health practitioners, and applying digital and immersive technologies (AI, XR, VR) to support wellbeing. Her expertise includes pragmatic implementation methods, mixed-methods evaluation, and the design of digital and immersive interventions.

Prior to joining the School of Psychology and Clinical Language Sciences at the University of Reading Malaysia (UoRM) in 2024, she worked across hospital and university settings in the region, providing therapy, supervision, and training.
