Kee Liang Chin | Lecturer in Real Estate

Mr Chin is responsible in the delivery of modules in Management of Change in Real Estate (RE) Sector,  RE Asset Management, Finance and Market, Development Appraisal and Finance and Career Management Skills in UoRM.  He has over 36 year work experience and had lectured in the distance learning course for Heriot Watt University and the Post Graduate Real Estate Course for University of Malaya.

Mr Chin qualified as a Chartered Surveyor whilst working with the Board of Inland Revenue London. Subsequently, he worked with different corporations in various countries in different capacities, including as Property Consultant, Chartered Surveyor, and Marketer in London, Singapore, Brunei Darussalam, Malaysia and the People’s Republic of China. Mr Chin was involved in the revaluation of commercial properties in UK, corporate real estate in Singapore, real estate development ventures in the People’s Republic of China, the economic planning of the South Johor Economic Development Zone, and the development of various 1,000 – 6,000 acres’ townships in Johor and the Klang Valley in Malaysia – including the development of residential, industrial, and commercial properties.

His main research interests  include real estate investment, real estate development and marketing, development and management of shopping malls.
