Ms Nurul Syahidah Mazlan| Programme Lead of BSc Quantity Surveying
Nurul Syahidah Mazlan holds a BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying from the University of Reading Malaysia and an MSc in Information Management for Design, Construction, and Operation from the University of Reading, United Kingdom, where her postgraduate research focused on integrating digital technologies into the construction industry.
Currently, Syahidah is pursuing a PhD in Built Environment at the University of Reading Malaysia, with her research centred on applying artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance decision-making in sustainable construction projects.
Since 2019, she has gained significant experience as a consultant quantity surveyor at a prominent local firm, offering contract and project cost advisory services to high-profile clients across both the private and public sectors. Her expertise spans residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects, managing the entire lifecycle from pre-contract to post-contract stages. In addition to her technical skills, she is proficient in using Building Information Modelling (BIM) to streamline cost estimation and improve overall construction efficiency.
Syahidah is a registered Provisional Quantity Surveyor with the Board of Quantity Surveyors Malaysia (BQSM), a Graduate Member of the Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM), and a Graduate Technologist with the Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT).
