Mohamad Shaiful Hisham Zulhizam

Shaiful Hisham holds a MSc in Construction Contract Management and a Bachelor of Quantity Surveying (Hons) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. He is currently pursuing his PhD in Quantity Surveying, with a focus on crisis management in mega construction projects

Hisham's research interests are centered on Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), contract management, procurement and construction project management, with expertise in risk management and crisis management

He brings a strong blend of academic and industry experience. Prior to his academic role, Hisham worked in diverse positions across various sectors of the construction industry, including contractor, developer, and consultant firms. His experience spans companies such as JQS International Sdn. Bhd., Horizon Hills Development Sdn. Bhd., and Pembinaan Adinn. Notably, he worked with China Communication Construction (ECRL) Sdn. Bhd. on the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) project, a major infrastructure initiative aimed at enhancing connectivity between the east and west coasts of Peninsular Malaysia. He played important roles in each stage of both the pre-contract and post-contract phases of the projects.
