Biography

Meenaloshinee Moganathas is a Law Lecturer at the University of Reading Malaysia. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from Oxford Brookes University, United Kingdom, and a Master of Laws (LLM) from Universiti Malaya. She is currently pursuing her PhD at Universiti Malaya, with her academic research interests centred on Medical Law.

Meenaloshinee has seven years of experience in legal education and has taught across various levels of higher education, including Foundation, Diploma, Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes. Her teaching experience encompasses a range of areas within law, with particular interests in Tort Law, Medical Law, the English Legal System, Law of Evidence and Administrative Law.

In addition to her teaching experience, Meenaloshinee has held academic and programme management positions within the higher education sector. She previously served as Programme Manager for the Law Enforcement programme at Kolej Perdana before taking on the role of Lead for Law Subjects at Newton International College. She has also taught Law and Enforcement programmes at New Era University. Her experience further includes involvement in academic quality assurance and regulatory matters, including the preparation and management of documentation relating to the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).

Her academic interests are particularly focused on Medical Law, with a broader interest in the relationship between law, healthcare and the protection of individual rights.
