What is a Micro-credential?

A micro-credential is a focused, university-level learning programme that allows you to develop knowledge and skills in a specific subject area without committing to a full degree. It offers a flexible way to gain university-level knowledge and develop expertise in an area relevant to your professional or personal interests.

At the University of Reading Malaysia, our micro-credential programmes are designed for adult professionals and learners who want to enhance their knowledge, develop new skills, explore a specific area of interest, or support their continuing professional development.

Depending on the programme and your eligibility, the 6 MQA credits awarded upon successful completion may be transferable towards further study, including at the University of Reading Malaysia, subject to the relevant entry requirements and academic regulations.
