Purpose of workshop, Who it is for, What’s involved

To produce a good quality research proposal that complies to the requirements set-up by the expert panels during the evaluation process in order to secure grant (MoHE – FRGS) successfully. This is intended to early career researchers who intend to conduct fundamental academic research that aims to develop new theory(ies), concept(s), principle(s) and idea(s).

Biography

Dr Mohd Faris Khamidi

Faris’s research interests include Construction Project Management, Sustainable Building and Construction; and Green Building Technology for Climate Change Mitigation. Since 2007, he has successfully secured external research grant amounting to RM4.27 million from MOHE, MOSTI, PETRONAS and AKEPT; in particular three Fundamental Research Grant Scheme (FRGS of MOHE) in 2011, 2010 and 2007.
