The University of Reading Malaysia (UoRM) works with EduCity Student Village and Core Home Management, to provide comfortable and convenient accommodation for all students.
If you choose to study at the University of Reading Malaysia, you will be given priority for accommodation at the EduCity Student Village.

Student Village, EduCity, Iskandar Malaysia
The Student Village (SV) is located in EduCity in Iskandar Puteri, a short walk from the University of Reading Malaysia campus. It is only a 20 minute drive from downtown Johor Bahru, 20 minutes from Senai International Airport and about 40 minutes away from Singapore’s Changi International Airport. A safe environment, the vicinity is secured with CCTV surveillance and a security guard post. This accommodation option comprises 444 beds for single students (hostel type accommodation) and 60 units of apartments for students and staff which have 202 beds.
The Student Village caters to students from each tertiary institution within EduCity, creating the opportunity for students to socialise with students from other universities in the area. The SV also offers a range of social spaces which enable students to mix and mingle. These include an indoor games room, a cafeteria, and an outdoor badminton and basketball court. A Surau (prayer room) is also available for Muslim students.

EcoNest Residence, EcoWorld, Gelang Patah
Alternative accommodation is available at EcoNest Residence, a short drive from the University of Reading Malaysia (UoRM). Students can apply for a room through Core Home Management, a Johor property management firm with many years’ experience in serving students. Special accommodation rates are available to students from the University of Reading Malaysia.
The contemporary private rooms at EcoNest are lifestyle-friendly and have been designed to cater to students. All rooms are fully furnished, alleviating the need to supply your own furniture. The apartment complex is located within a gated compound and is located less thank 3km away from UoRM. An EcoWorld shuttle bus will be available to transport students between EcoNest and EduCity.

UK accommodation
A range of accommodation options are available to students who study at the University of Reading’s UK campus. Students can choose to live in an en-suite room, in a traditional hall around a courtyard, or in a shared flat in a modern residential block.
