Dr Ji Hei Lee | Lecturer in Real Estate Planning

ji hei leeDr Lee has been teaching urban planning modules for BSc Real Estate, Henley Business School since 2015. She is a fellow of Higher Education Academy (FHEA), UK. Prior to joining Reading, she worked as an assistant lecturer at Texas A&M University teaching undergraduate and postgraduate planning modules such as Building Better Cities, Evolving City, and Structure and Function of Urban Settlements.

Her research interest lies in how planners can create our neighborhoods and cities more livable, particularly for the elderly and the less mobile. She has examined the mechanism how built environment may affect social relationships and health in different contexts including U.S.A, Malaysia and South Korea. In her current research project, she investigates Malaysian older adults’ behaviors and preferences in navigating urban spaces. She is embarking on a new project to investigate property oversupply issues in Iskandar Malaysia.
