Dr Bruno Lot Tanko | Lecturer in Built Environment

Dr. Bruno Lot TankoBruno Lot Tanko got his Ph.D. (Quantity Surveying) in 2018 from the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. He holds bachelor degree in quantity surveying (First Class Honours) from the Federal University of Technology, Minna, Niger State, Nigeria, and Master Degree in construction Management (Distinction) from University of Jos, Nigeria. He has been involved in teaching and training in the field of quantity surveying and construction management since 2009, and also working in other private agencies. He has served as lecturer in the Department of Building, University of Jos, Nigeria (2009-2015) and Department of Quantity Surveying, University of Jos, Nigeria (2015-2019).

He was featured as a reviewer, editor, quest editor, and session chair for a number of international conferences and journals. Bruno’s research is focussed on Construction Project Management, Value Management, Value Engineering, Procurement, Construction Health and Safety, Project Success, Advanced Construction Health and Safety Technologies, and Building Information Modelling.  He has twelve journal publications and six conference articles. His doctoral research focussed on developing a road map for implementing value management in the construction industry.
